nagiosでのhttpsサービスの監視方法

　→debian sarge
nagios-version
　→nagios-1.4.1
nagiosプラグイン
　→nagios-plugins-1.4.3

上記バージョンで、httpsの監視もnagiosで行いたいのですが
nagiosプラグインである、check_httpでのhttpページの監視はできたのですが
httpsページの監視ができません。
check_http -h
でヘルプを見たところ同プラグインでhttpsの監視ができるとあるのですが。。
具体的な方法が分かりませんでした。
ちなみに、 『check_http -H xxx.xxx.co.jp -p 433』
を試したことろ、HTTP WARNING: HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Requestでした。
httpsページの監視方法をご存知でしたらご教授お願い致します。

ソースを見る限り、
-S か --sslを指定すればよさそうに見えます。

一度お試し頂けませんでしょうか？

＜追加＞
でも、ヘルプで出ないという事は、SSLが無効になってるのかもしれませんね…

調べた所、-S か --sslを設定すればできるという情報あったのですが
Helpを見ても上記オプションが存在しませんでした。
ちなみに、SSLを有効にするのはプラグインコンパイル時に
なにかコンパイルオプションをしていしないとまずいのでしょうか？

以下に、nagiosインストール時の設定を記述いたします。

tar zxvf nagios-1.4.1.tar.gz
cd nagios-1.4.1
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/nagios --with-cgiurl=/nagios/cgi-bin --with-htmlurl=/nagios/ --with-nagios-user=nagios --with-nagios-grp=nagios
make all
make install
make install-init
make install-config

tar zxvf nagios-plugins-1.4.3.tar.gz
cd nagios-plugins-1.4.3
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/nagios --with-nagios-user=nagios --with-nagios-group=nagios --with-cgiurl=/nagios/cgi-bin
make all
make install

回答忘れましたが、
-S --sslオプションをつけて実行するすると
そんなオプションはありませんエラーがでます。

--with-trusted-path: /bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin

pluginのconfigure時に opensslが有効になっているかを確認してください。
こちらの環境ではコンパイルオプション未指定で有効になっているので、
もし有効になっていなければopensslのdevel関連のファイルが足りないのだと思います。

残念ながら、Debianを使用したことが無い為、
何のパッケージを追加すればよいかまではわかりません。
Redhat系ならopenssl-develかなと。

ご指摘通り、以下パッケージをインストールしました
apt-get install ibssl-dev
でインストール後
プラグインを再コンパイル
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/nagios --with-nagios-user=nagios --with-nagios-group=nagios --with-cgiurl=/nagios/cgi-bin
----
config.status: creating po/Makefile
・・・・
--with-openssl: yes
・・・・
→OPENSSLが有効となる
----

しかし、make allすると
以下エラーが発生するようになりました。

make clean
をしてませんでした。
失礼致しました。

make all
make install
完了後正しくcheck_httpに『--ssl -S』オプションが使えることを
確認しました。

./check_http --ssl www.ｘｘｘ.com

HTTP OK HTTP/1.1 200 OK - 9012 bytes in 0.147 seconds |time=0.147307s;;;0.000000 size=9012B;;;0


大変参考になりました。
